I am a professional photographer based in south Manchester. I specialise in portrait photography and especially enjoy photographing musicians whether jazz, classical or pop, either in performance or in my Didsbury studio. I also enjoy capturing the day’s events of weddings from the bride’s preparation in the morning, to the couples’ first dance at the reception. My studio photography also extends to families and children to capture those moments to remember.
Photography has always been my life’s passion, and my camera is constantly at my side, with the aim of capturing the excitement of a festival, the splendour of a landscape or the gritty urban reality of a mill town in Greater Manchester. My photographs have been exhibited nationally and internationally and I have gained several awards from salon competitions. I have recently been awarded the BPE second crown distinction and the international EFIAP distinction.
