When it’s Done it’s Done

The midwife said to my mum,

Give a good push and then it’s done.

The surgeon said, removing my tonsils is no fun,

But when it’s done it’s done.

We all have lots of things to do,

Like painting a room or going to B&Q,

And when everything is finished under the sun

I can say, when it’s done it’s done.

The vicar said “He lived a full and good life

And had his moments too”.

His ashes where scattered to the wind

And as for his life,

when it’s done it’s done.
